The first international standard on M&V is about the guidance and principles of best practise M&V. The intention of the standard is to prove the credibility of savings. Since ISO 50015 is method-agnostic, to comply with ISO 50015, a method will need to be selected - such as IPMVP Options A, B, C, or D.
This unique one-day training course on ISO 50015 and the IPMVP, will help you understand how to implement M&V Plans to be both IPMVP and ISO 50015 adherent and to understand what good M&V is. The course focuses on the similarities and differences between the two methodologies and how to bridge the gap so the two work together with minimum duplication of effort whilst selecting the right method.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Understand the essentials of good M&V to both ISO 50015 and IPMVP with practical application
- Apply the key principles of both standards to energy savings projects
- Understand how to construct an M&V Plan to both standards
- Understand how to implement an M&V Plan and report savings with minimum duplication
Energy or facility managers, building owners, investors, lawyers etc. or anyone who would like to understand ISO 50015 in the context of IPMVP should attend the course. Prior knowledge of M&V and the IPMVP will be useful but not necessary.
